Macedon is home base for us, and a good share of our jobs are within ten minutes of it.
Macedon runs from older farmhouses along the canal to postwar ranches and newer subdivisions off Route 31. The older houses usually need full-frame work where sills have gone soft. The subdivision homes are typically on their first replacement of builder-grade windows that are now twenty-five or thirty years old.
Wayne County jobs are our shortest drive, which means we can usually get out to measure quickly and come back the same week if something needs a second look.
The full range, same as everywhere else we work:
It depends on your frames, not on your town. Push a thumbnail into the wood at the bottom corners of a few windows. If it gives, that opening needs full-frame work. If it's solid, an insert will cost you less and keep your trim. We explain the whole difference on our installation techniques page.
How a Macedon job runs. We come out and measure every opening ourselves. You get a written proposal with no commissioned salesperson attached to it and nothing owed until you approve it. On install day we average about two windows a day depending on the opening, we clean up behind ourselves, and we walk the job with you before we leave.
We also work in Palmyra, Fairport, Victor, and more than twenty other towns around Rochester. See the full service area.
Free in-home consultation, no commissioned salesperson, and nothing owed until you approve the proposal.
